Performance Choppers

Raw...un·a·dul·ter·at·ed...Power!

Power in your motorcycle comes from the combustion of fuel in air. The more fuel+air mixture you are able to burn more efficiently, the more torque is produced. The torque produced in a given rpm range determine the power a motor puts out. Big Twin motorcycles have high-torque motors able to generate well over 100 ft-lbs of torque and power in excess of 120 Horsepower.

That's all very interesting, but...

How do I get more torque and power out of my bike?

What do I need to do?

What are my options?

How much is it going to cost me?

Performance modifications can be made in steps, or all at once, however...

ANY mods will require that you re-tune your engine to adapt to its new components.

In the world of V-Twin motorcycles, performance modifications have been divided up into stages. Explore what each stage consists of and determine which one fits your riding style and your budget.

Remember!

No matter which modifications you decide to jack your bike up with, you're going to need to re-tune it. Learn more about why and how -

Your bike has an ECM that has a map that tells it how to react to airflow dynamics. Once you modify  the components of your engine that "map" should change to best incorporate the mods.
